About me.

Hello my name is Alixandria (Alix)

I am the mother of 4 beautiful children, whom I have singularly raised, they are my shining lights.

I work for a pathology laboratory at Perth’s largest hospital, I am not a scientist, however, I am a laboratory assistant – my main duties are to provide information  (results of tests to hospital doctors) , register all the tests doctors request plus do a variety of other tasks including preparing samples for drug and alcohol testing

I am down to earth, young at heart, honest, loyal

I have a variety of interests…the camera is one..( I need to learn the art of good photography) ..paint brush the other,( I am an artist in my spare time – I just wish I could find the ‘spare’ time) 
I have a wide interest in what happens with our beautiful planet    I love the bush, wildflower and fauna that are endemic to Australia as well as most other living things.

I am both a cat and dog person and dearly love to have one of each come and live with me, however for the time being I have a bird called Henri to keep us company…..

I get great joy reading, whether it be Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, Thoreau’s  Walden ,Victor Hugo’s  Les Miserables ,CP Cavafy’s  Ithaca  mountaineering books , Margaret Mitchells Gone with the Wind , the Weekend Australian, Homer’s Odyssey , Art, National geographic ….I love them all

I have a wish to travel one day, to go back to the land of my birth (Zambia – yes Zambia ) after all Africa is the cradle of mankind,travel to Europe so I can walk the same paths my ancestors walked……also experience the thrill of being amongst history. Visit New York, the deep south of the USA ….London (where my son has been for the past 4 years ) The Galapogos Archipeligo  and a little  island called Madagasgar  -I also hold on to a special dream – Eretz Israel…..

I have an electic taste in music,  where  or whatever mood I am in music seems to calm the inner me…….
